Helsinki Festival is an annual event held in late summer in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. This unique Scandinavian event is full of music , entertainment theater, cultural dances, visual arts, the programs for children’s delight, circus, movies and many more in which the out class performers around the world participate. Hundreds of thousands of visitors come from all over the world to attend this festival every year.

The classical music program of the festival is a charming event and it includes the famous London Philharmonic Orchestra, Chamber Music etc. Stage performances are presented by the famous European theatric companies. Similarly a number of shows and events on visual arts including movies and contemporary art are presented. The tightrope walking show, new modern European circus, puppet shows, exhibition for kids and game shows add variety to this entertainment extravaganza. The festival reaches its peak on The Night of the Arts, on Friday August 27, when hundreds of events take place in whole Helsinki – full of colors and enjoyment.

Since its inception in 1971, the Helsinki Festival has gained prime importance and has become one of the largest multi arts festival of Northern Europe.
