Flowers are all over the place, but some places are just better for seeing them when you’re looking for something a little more impactful. (Think color, or lots and lots of them in one spot.) Here are some of the best places to visit when you want to see lots of flowers and maybe get some photos while you’re at it. Of course springtime is the best time to go when the flowers start to naturally bloom and keep at for a few months at a time.

Each year there are 100 different varieties of tulips blooming which include dark pink China tulips, the yellow West Point tulips, and red Mariette tulips. There are also other types of plants and statues and interesting things to look at.

Washington D.C.

Washington D.C. has tons of cherry trees which blossom and look amazing. The 3,000 Yoshino cherry trees were actually a gift from the mayor of Tokyo in 1912, and today there is still an annual Cherry Blossom Festival to celebrate the friendship between the two countries. If you want to see even more of the blooming cherry blossoms, Tokyo itself is the best place to go where they grow like crazy.
