I have an email account, a facebook account, a twitter account, and now a blog (all of these free though). I send a lot of emails, even more tweets, further more facebook status updates and sharings, and on top of all that, now I want to write blogs. Why?
To be honest, I don’t know. As a spy character in the Hollywood movie “Shall We Dance” beautifully described ‘life partner’ as a person we want to have as a witness of our lives, because we don’t want our lives to go un-noticed; I guess I also want to be noticed–witnessed–heard.
Above all, understood!
Understood? Does it have something in common with ‘sharing’? Makes a lot of sense. Can I understand someone without sharing his/her perspective? Can I understand why a suicide bomber kills innocent children in the name of God without sharing his dreams about the decrees from God? Can I understand Israeli occupation without sharing Jewish insecurities of Medieval English injustices, Spanish inquisitions & Holocaust? Can I understand why Stephen Hawking is trying to understand universe from his wheelchair without first sharing his excitement on being alive with a consciousness? I doubt.
I want to share everyone’s perspective; everyone’s including mine, yours, and God’s because I want to understand, and in the process, be understood. To be understood I want to be shared. And to be shared, I want to be heard.
