It was truly said by Ralf Emerson; the earth laughs in flowers. Flowers are the jewls of the lovely planet and perhaps are the gladest creature of God under the sun. Some flowers are really so romantic and fanciful like Lamprocapnos spectabilis. This extravagant flower is commonly known as Bleeding Heart Flower or Lady in a Bath, which is the inhabitant of the temperate regions of the world. Bleeding Heart flowers usually bloom in the spring season every year and attract the green panthers for their unique shape; droping bloods from the heart dangling at the bottom.

Bleeding Heart Flower or Lady in a Bath can grow in full sun in a moist and cool climate, but  on the other hand, in warmer and drier climates it requires some shade. Farmers all around the world love to grow Bleeding Hearts to improve and embellish their landscapes. The plants of  Bleeding Hearts can ideally be grown in semi shade or full shade places of the garden in well-drained soils. Once grown properly, Bleeding Heart Flowers take an average of 3-4 seasons to fill out to mature flowering clumps. They then bloom every spring for years.
